England Manager Expresses Disappointment after Draw with Denmark

England manager Gareth Southgate has expressed disappointment in his side's performances in their two games at Euro 2024, despite picking up one win. Southgate spoke after England's 1-1 draw with Denmark, where the Three Lions struggled to find fluency in their attacking play. He said, "We've not created enough chances for that to be the case. We're not at the level that we need to be at the moment." Meanwhile, Manchester City have completed the signing of midfielder Kalvin Phillips from Leeds on a six-year contract.

Phillips was a part of the Three Lions squad that ended up as UEFA European Championship runners-up in 2020. He has made 23 appearances for England, scoring one goal. Manchester City agreed a basic fee of £42 million with Leeds for Phillips, who has won the Premier League twice with the Yorkshire club. Everton have reportedly made an enquiry over out-of-favour Manchester City midfielder Kalvin Phillips.
